Tomb Raider: After Rise is the third installment in the saga of the Tomb Raider series and Angelina Jolie returns as the heroine. This time, we see that with the help of a mysterious video game (not this one, though) she’s able to save the world instead of just her own life. While the story is similar to the original, this game adds some interesting twists. Although it’s not necessary to know everything about the first Tomb Raider video game before you watch the sequel, those who have played the original game know how complex and difficult the game was. The reason why is because the film follows the well-known science fiction tale that’s been told many times over. A good example of this is that Tomb Raider started as something that all kids were talking about.
