Angelina Jolie Miss Peregrine

Angelina Jolie was first to play a major role in Tomb Raider: Anniversary. The action-packed movie pushed her into near-blandry and made her a strong lady who could tackle tough dude movies. The movie turned out to be a box office smash and Jolie, who played her first non-topscore role, enjoyed an eight-year career that would end with four more films. Let’s take a look at those.

First up is Tomb Raider: Anniversary, a follow-up on the successful horror filmials of Tomb Raider. Angelina Jolie is back as Tomb Raider in a new chapter. The heroine this time is the daughter from a wealthy family living in Los Angeles. She assumes the role as protector after her best friend is murdered and searches for her personal guru who can help her find her father.

Tomb Raider Anniversary continues the story of the original video game. It picks up just after the events in the second game and allows us to revisit our ‘protector’ duties. The story revolves around the evil plans of a group of scientists who are trying to make a video game out of cloning. Angelina is now required to play the role as the hero of humanity, rather than being a normal gamer. You’ll enjoy Anniversary if you liked Tomb Raider. It includes cut scenes from the original game.

Tomb Raider: After Rise is the third installment in the saga of the Tomb Raider series and Angelina Jolie returns as the heroine. This time, we see that with the help of a mysterious video game (not this one, though) she’s able to save the world instead of just her own life. While the story is similar to the original, this game adds some interesting twists. Tomb raider: After Rise not only has Angelina Jolie in the lead role, but she also co-stars Dylan O’Brien, Ki Hong Lee and Dexter Darden.

Although it’s not necessary to know everything about the first Tomb Raider video game before you watch the sequel, those who have played the original game know how complex and difficult the game was. Fortunately, Tomb Raider: After Rise manages to maintain the interest of fans of the original while still managing to be enjoyable for a modern fan. The reason why is because the film follows the well-known science fiction tale that’s been told many times over. It’s not difficult to see why science fiction movies would be so popular if you grew up reading it.

A good example of this is that Tomb Raider started as something that all kids were talking about. The first movie involved a team of researchers that were searching for a mythical metal called “The orb”. They needed it to activate an energy portal that would take them to safety, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to find it in time. Because of this failure, the team members were stranded on an alien planet with no means of travel. They had to rely upon others for survival until help arrived because of their limited resources.

The film’s main storyline revolved around a science-fiction adventure. Angelina Jolie, however, didn’t let this stop her from casting her role. Angelina Jolie appeared to be fully prepared for her role as the first Tomb Raider video game, despite having played small parts in science fiction movies in the past. It may have just been a small role, but to someone who was unaware of the role ahead of time, it seemed like she was a perfect fit. It also made perfect sense that Angelina Jolie was perfect for the part of Lara Croft, given her own background and relationship with the Tomb raider franchise prior to this film.

The film did not do Tomb Raider any favors for its story, and this is probably why Angelina Jolie was ultimately cast to play the lead role. However, the film did do her a world of good as she was able to channel her anger and frustration from the film into one of the best acting performances of her career. Although the movie failed at the box office, it did rake in an incredible amount of revenue thanks to excellent marketing and ticket sales. In the end, it can be said that Angelina Jolie delivers another great performance as the foul-tempered and slightly annoying tomb raider.
